Rail yard and Former Maloney Creek
Excavated shallow areas of the rail yard- Excavated soils within two feet of the surface on the Skykomish Library property containing concentrations of lead, arsenic, PCBs, or petroleum exceeding cleanup levels.
- Excavated soils within two feet of the surface on rail yard containing concentrations of petroleum exceeding rail yard cleanup levels.
Remediated the Former Maloney Creek East Wetland- Excavated material exceeding cleanup levels within wetland boundary.
- Installed storm drain to convey water from upstream ditches to Former Maloney Creek West Wetland area.
- Performed upland restoration at the entire site.
- Paid into a wetland bank as compensation for removal of existing wetland and provided funds for the Town's Maloney Creek habitat restoration and sediment control project.
Remediated the Former Maloney Creek West Wetland- Excavated material within wetland boundary and within a 25-foot buffer extending to the north.
- Restored wetland.
